The 13th
State-level Hadoti Udyog Mela began at Kota today.The welcome song was
sung by little girls: ”Abhinandan karte hain, ham swagat karte hain”. The
State Udyog Mantri, Sh.Narpat Singh Rajvi was the chief-guest. The
handsome minister looked enthusiastic and had the political will to act as
a crystal to stimulate the industrial renaissance in the region.An
environment conducive to industrial development is the intended thing of
the industrialists and the ruling party dominated by industrialists.The
desired things like the industry embedded in a region where local raw
material is available, the bye-pass, a technical university, removing the
bureaucratic bottle-necks, political will, checking inspector raj, lower
taxes, lower- interest loans, shedding sluggishness, checking gulping of
subsidy, prompt electric supply, etc., seem on the way.With a sym pathetic
Central Govt. feeling obliged and the feelgood factor, immediately before
the pending Lok Sabha Elections. Quick action should not surprise the
region having witnessed irresponsible attitude of the materialistic
industrialists and equally sluggish and red-tapist admn. of the bygone
days.1 crore worth business is looked forward to by the futurist and
optimistic well-wishers.
It was rightly pointed out that co-ordination between the finance &
industry depts. has to improve to achieve the desired results.Kota Stone
Industry needs be sustained.Kota industry has suffered lot of pain when
Kota no more enjoys the status of Kanpur of Rajasthan.The entire effort
has to be synchronised with the ongoing process of globalisation.
